Question

Hello all, I am working on TL071CDT as a comprator. When I give supply voltage to op-amp then I get by default 1.4v on inverting pin and output of comparator on pin shift 1.4V. kindly share your opinions on this misbehavior. Thank you, Chirag Chauhan

Using an OPAMP as comparator is normally no good idea. Care also for in/output voltage range!

Thanks for your quick response.

currently in many design we used op amp as a comparator there are not an issue.

and for voltage range i give 12V input on vcc.
