Question

LMV321ILT 3.3V operational compatibility

Hi,

@Peter BENSCH

In the datasheet of ST LMV321ILT op-amp, it is stated that minimum voltage supply span is 2.7V and maximum supply span is 6V. Can you suggest whether LMV321ILT can be used with 3.3V or an alternate that is both pin to pin and 3.3V compatible? Also, the VOH VOL characteristics are defined for VCC=5V and VCC= 2.7 V. Could you also provide VOH VOL levels when VCC =3.3V if the op-amp is compatible with supply of 3.3V?

Read the datasheet!

> Operating range from VCC = 2.7 to 6 V

Yes, it works with 3.3V.

Also, the VOH VOL characteristics are defined for VCC=5V and VCC= 2.7 V. Could you also provide VOH VOL levels when VCC =3.3V if the op-amp is compatible with supply of 3.3V?

An operational amplifier is (usually) a purely analog circuit, so you can basically interpolate its 3.3V behavior from the values given at 2.7V and 5V.

In case of doubt, take the worst (min / max) values of both.
