Question
STA540 ?
Good afternoon....
I am looking into using an STA540 in a power amp design for a single supply 4 ohm speaker. Other than the datasheet there seems to be no reference design material on how to use this chip. I have found Sparkfun has a reference design and am trying to leverage that. I would like to know however (from audio expertise) on whether or not I need to place a zobel network on the output? whether I need to place a parallel RL in series with the load? and finally if so what are suggestions for values AND power handling size for the resistors??
