TDA7706

Looking to add FM HD into my project.

Digikey suggests the TDA7706 is Obsolete, while the ST website says its active.

Looking for a recommendation that will be supported into the future.

Also looking for additional datasheet information, and register maps, etc.

The TDA7706M is available and in stock at Mouser. The "TDA7706" part code is obsolete. The suffix probably added after a non-functional change to manufacturing.

Per the data sheet, "TDA7706CB" is the current part number.

The relationship between -M and -CB is unclear, but probably just packaging.

I guess my next step is getting some datasheets, register maps, etc.

I have no connection to ST. This is mostly a user forum with only casual ST participation.
