ARM Cortex A8,A9 processor 1GHz

I do not know why ST does not have GHz range Cortex A8 processors like TI,freescale,samsung,...?

I think ST can produce them with low cost of samsung but at the quality of freescale or better.

ST have stm32 in cortex M but nothing in A8 GHz range!

Is there any problem?

Hi, YES ST do have CORTEX A9 products.

please look at embedded processors section of E2E community or search for SPEAR as keyword in ST web.

Its clock is under 1GHZ, is there above GHz products from ST?
