Can EVALSTDRIVE101 drive a BLAC motor?

hello everyone, i'd like to know if i can use the EVALSTDRIVE101 add-on board driven by an stm32-nucleo to drive BLAC motors. Because the datasheet says that they are suitable for BLDC AND PMSM.

Otherwise there is some other board that allows driving  blac motors?

STEVAL-IPM15B Can work with STM32 boards but it supports DC Motors not AC.

Hello @Nicholas_minafra97

As you can see in this description

The EVALSTDRIVE101 is designed to drive three-phase brushless DC motors.

That's why it can't drive BLAC motors.

For AC motors driver, I suggest you to take a look at this .

Best regards.
