Hi, Currently we are using the power driver IC VN820SPTR-E in our applications. It is showing obsolete. We found VN5E006ASP-E and VN5E006ASPTR-E as alternate for the same. I would like to know the part status of the alternates to check active or not.

VN5E006ASP-E and the T/R option VN5E006ASPTR-E are high side drivers with status ACTIVE that have been around since 2010. 

If you want to use alternative types, you should keep an eye on the Product Longevity List, which lists components with guaranteed minimum delivery times.

Thank you for the reply. The part number VN5E006ASP-E shows obsolete in both digikey and Mouser but the Tape and reel version VN5E006ASPTR-E is showing active. So got confused.

Well, our website is certainly more relevant, you will find the VN5E006ASPTR-E there as ACTIVE, I have just double checked internally as well and can confirm it as fully active.

If currently not available, this is not a technical but an availability problem, which should be clarified with the respective distributor.
