How do I enable I/O settings in the board initialization component for my SPC58 discovery kit project in SPC5 Studio?

When I import example projects for my SPC58 board, I am able to edit the I/O settings. Specifically, I can change the I/O mode of GPIO pins to be input or output instead of both, which I can't do from the Pin Map editor.

But when I try and select this component on my own project, the I/O settings are disabled. I can see the configurations I've made in the Pin Map editor, but I can't change anything.

Does anyone know how to enable this? I'm using SPC5 Studio 5.8
