Posted on January 06, 2016 at 15:47Dear SPC5Studio Team, I followed the installation procedure (backup licence and workspace, uninstall v3.7.1, remove workspace...) and I now have 2 problems: - I exported my v3.7 project in zip file and imported it in v4.0. I added the Platform, init and LL drivers SLA packages and I generate the components. WHERE COULD DRIVERS SETTINGS BE FOUND? The clock component shows clock settings, ok, but where are FlexCAN, DSPI settings??? Even if I create an app using the wizard, i'm stuck. The clock settings are not using the values I used in my configuation.xml. Is the v3.7 configuration.xml still supported in v4.0? - I set the http and https proxy settings to manual with correct server address, port, login and pwd, clear socks entries, and at startup the log says ''System property https.proxyPort is not set but should be 8080.'' and so on for all 6 properties. Posted on January 07, 2016 at 11:18I want to generate library files for my C modules. E.g. I have a C module for timer with functions for initialization, configuration, start and stop. I want to generate a library module which I can use in SPC5Studio project and call the required API from other C modules. Is it possible with SPC5Studio?Can I build C module to generate library files?Thanks.Mike

Then I imported the project on which I was warking. It works very well, but I’m detected an interesting behavior.During the pal_init function some pins are set to high for 0,132 ms. This can cause some side effects in my application. Posted on November 12, 2015 at 14:29Hi CommunityI have an issue with the Real Time Clock of the SPC560D. My application try to read the RTC.RTCCNT register. Every time during the read process the program pointer goes to 0x0000000E0, therefor it points to nothing -.-I think it is a basically problem, because the same issue occurs, if the RTC get configured. Posted on June 30, 2015 at 16:50Hello,I am using standby mode for SPC560D MCU. The datasheet mentions about using DRUN or software reset for exiting this mode. Can you please explain on,1. How to configure the DRUN mode? I tried using API 'halSPCSetRunMode' for switching between modes. But when used for DRUN mode, it does not exit the standby mode correctly and a power reset is required. Is any thing missing for this?2. Which are the ways to use software reset for SPC560D? Can I use watchdog reset as a software reset? Is there any other means for software reset?Thanks in advance for any help.Mike.

Posted on December 07, 2015 at 12:46Good morning, I've 2 questions: First, I'm wandering about the differences between: the SPS560B60 and the SPS560B64? Are they compatible in the sense that the same code would run the same in both devices? (I'm already aware of FLASH/RAM memory sizes difference, is there any other difference?). Posted on November 27, 2015 at 11:13Hello everybody, I'm using the SPC56EL70L5DISP board.In order to use UART, I put the jumpers in J18 and J20 to connect UART-MCU LIN0, following the board user guide.Running the test example with UART and blinking LEDs, I try to read the hello world from a PC. I use a serial to USB adapter and a software configured for 38400-N-1 with no flow control or handshaking. I don't receive anything though.I'm asking for a confirmation: should this work or did I miss something here?Thanks in advance for the help. #spc56 #uart

I want to save the device configuration/status before putting the device to standby mode and use/retrieve this status when the device exits standby mode. Can this be achieved by using SRAM? How to access SRAM for variable storage?Any example for using SRAM will be helpful. Thanks.Mike.

Posted on October 19, 2015 at 12:20Hello, when I was working on SPC56EL with older SPC5 Studio versions, the overflow callback was called only when the internal counter was overflowing. This was perfect to detect too low frequency which can't be measured. On SPC564B and SPC5 Studio V3.7, the driver is reworked compared to older versions and the overlow callback is now called all the time, when edges are detected on the input. Can you please confirm this bug or new behaviour... Second problem is the frequency range: I have to measure frequencies between 4Hz and 5kHz on different channels with 1Hz resolution. Since the eMIOS clock is the same for all channel, how could I achieve that? I actually use a clock of 120MHz/2/256=234375 Hz. It allows period measurement down to 3.5Hz with high precision. But at 5kHz, the counter reaches 234375 / 5000 = 46 and this corresponds to 234375 / 46 = 5095 Hz which is far away from 5000Hz. To be able to reach 1Hz resolution on other micro

Posted on October 21, 2015 at 18:21Hi all, I'm using the SPC560B ecu as a LIN slave controller. Now I have the problem to wake up a slave master. Therefore I only set LINFLEX_0.LINCR2.B.WURQ = 1. This works for a couple of times but after a few wake ups not any longer. Posted on October 20, 2015 at 14:44Hello all, I’m trying to initialize the LinFlex LINFLEX_1 module of the SPC560B Bolero. Unluckily I’m running into problems writing the  LINFLEX_1.LINCR1 register. Specially I’m unable to write the LINFLEX_1.LINCR1.B.MME bit to zero to enable slave mode despite the fact that the LinFlex state machine is in initialization mode.Does anybody know if I miss any side constraints or does anybody has some example code to initialize the LinFlex modul in slave mode?Many thanks in advance and kind regards,Dominik Skanda

When I disable loopback and enable supervisor mode, there is nothing on the CAN_TXD pin. I do not know the problem, and I need your help.Is there any good examples(FlexCAN) for me?thanks.

Posted on October 14, 2015 at 15:30Pin wizard was so buggy on SPC564B74L7 I decided to use the standard declaration. On SPC56EL60's RM we can find input mux select config (PSMI) for each input function. On SPC564B74 the RM the PSMI config are placed in another table which makes configuration horrible... Concerning the pin wizard, it detects error on next opening and worst, it introduce error like declaring many times PORT_A pin 0, 1, 2... Please fix that feature.

Posted on November 19, 2014 at 16:24Hello,I am trying to make a simple project that for a start can send a single CAN frame.I am using the SPC560B-DIS evb without any CAN board (will connect later on my own converter).I took a CAN sample  from other evb and merged it to my project but it doesn't work!Is there any CAN sample that works that I can use?Can I connect a scope to the TX pin and view the data without converter to CAN High and CAN Low?In the example i did not see any initialization to the I/O (Tx and Rx) is that correct?Can I use the external clock on my board for the CAN module?ThanksShachar
