Multi-core debugging on SPC58

I have been using SPC5-UDESTK with a STM58 evaluation board. I now need to start working with multiple cores, but it appears that the starter kit license does not support this functionality. Will the SPC5-UDEDEBG license allow for multi-core debugging? The documentation for SPC5-UDEDEBG specifies core 2 only, while PLS mentions multi-core support for the SPC58 family. If SPC5-UDEDEBG does not support multi-core debugging, what other tools have users successfully used for this purpose?

Hello NULLPTR,

the SPC5-UDESTK supports muticore only for low ends SPC58x

  • SPC582B50 (Cut1, Cut2)
  • SPC582B54 (Cut1, Cut2)
  • SPC582B60 (Cut1, Cut2)
  • SPC584B60 (Cut1)
  • SPC584B64 (Cut1)
  • SPC584B70 (Cut1)
  • SPC58EC70 (Cut1, Cut2)
  • SPC58EC74 (Cut1, Cut2)
  • SPC58EC80 (Cut1, Cut2)

You need to acquire the license for a more advanced PLS tool like UAD2Pro or UAD2next; see
