For JTAG I am using stellar link debugger, and I have to connect this debugger with microcontroller which is powered with other power supply, how to isolate or connect these connections, any digital isolator is suggested for this ?

Hello Sreenidhi ,

for SR5 devices you can use (windows/linux/macos)

  • J-Link with Segger (maybe J-Link could be good for you)
  • StellarLink with Openocd (FTDI)
  • Trace32 Lautechbach

At the current time, we do not support Stlink.based on STM32

           Best Regards

USB to USB isolators are commercially available, that would seem to be the obvious solution.

I don't know what's special about the Stellar Link, but ST also has an isolated version of the ST-Link debugger:

ST-LINK/V2-ISOL STMicroelectronics | Development Boards, Kits, Programmers | DigiKey
