But quoting with code blocks is still broken.

Indeed.

Composing a post with a quote with a code block inside:

Yes - that's the one!

I thought I had a thread about that, but can't find it.

The editor shows it OK:

AndrewNeil_1-1750494917243.png

the code is within the quote block

But posting breaks it:

the code is now outside the quote block

When this happens, you get the "Invalid HTM was found" message.

So it seems that the problem is in whatever it is which performs this HTML "check" ?

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for reporting, I could replicate the issue.

However, in the scenario when the code was simply copied/pasted in the quote and not embedded via the Insert/Edit code sample, the publication went through and code stayed in the same quote block (the error was still received, but double-clicking on it did the job).

Let me bring this issue further with the support team and I’ll get back to you.

If you notice anything else, let us know.

Thanks,
Lina

Yes, that error comes up a lot - usually for no apparent reason.

Usually, just hitting 'Post' again works - with no obvious changes!

Hello all,

The support team has successfully replicated the issue and confirmed that it's a bug. The engineering team is actively working on a resolution. At this time, we can go give any estimation of when it will be solved.

I will keep you posted once it's done.

Regards,
Lina

Is that the issue with the quoting, or the issue with the frequent "Invalid HTML" messages?
