Connect SATEL board? MZ-AI EVK

I want to connect a vl53l8 satel board to the x nucleo 53L8A1, and I want to use the MZ-AI EVK software to record measurements of the external sensor, is this possible?

It's very possible. And there is an app note on how to do the hookup.

Go to ST.com and search for the VL53L8CX part, then click the Documentation tab and there are a whole bunch of app notes. 

Select:

And it will tell you how to pick the jumper wires. 

This done and all the ST EVK's - including MZ-AI will work for you.
