Difference between the VL53L7 CH and CX variants

What's the difference between the following sensor variants:

  • VL53L7CH
  • VL53L7CX

From what I've seen from going through the available product documents, they are all the same, performance-wise (range, frequency, FoV etc).

Difference between the CH and CX seems to only be the firmware with the CH being able to output histogram data?
Is this correct?
Can the CH still output the normal processed data?

Hello

Indeed, main difference is the firmware.

You can output compact and normalized histogram with te CH that you cannot with the CX.

The L7CH is also outputting processed data too.
