Difference between STUSB1600QTR vs STUSB1600AQTR?

Hi,

As STUSB1600AQTR is currently out of stock everywhere, we have sourced from a secondary source the STUSB1600QTR part number. The datasheets seem almost identical, so we expected the part to be a drop-in replacement. However, this is not the case as our circuit does not work with the QTR part - while it works when we replaced it with our last AQTR part.

Is there any difference at all between the two part numbers? Or do we have to assume to have received fake parts?

Hello

QTR parts are no more supported and have been replaced by new version: AQTR.

Please refer to datasheet on st.com website which proposes only AQTR parts.
