I want to discover the peripheral devices with BlueNRG-2 central role.The initializing function set up the public address with ac_write_config_data and than initialize the Gatt layer with aci_gatt_init function. Finally I call gap_init with the following parameters: (GAP_CENTRAL_ROLE|GAP_PERIPHERAL_ROLE (0x04|0x01), PRIVACY_DISABLED (0x00) and device name characteristic length: 0x07. All aci functions returns BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS (indicating the initialization was successful) but as soon as I start general discovery procedure with aci_start_general_discovery_proc it always returns (0x82) error.Can anybody suggest a solution to this problem?Regards,

Hi community !I tested BlueNRG-2 generic ON/OFF model with other type of card with Mesh compatibility with which i can send what i want. When i'm sending a 2 bytes message like 01-00, DL3 (LED 3) switch ON which is normal. When the message is 2, 3 or 4 bytes long it still work, but when it's an 1 or more than 4 bytes long the card seems to no longer working. So i use breakpoint on the code to see where the income data is stopped.In generic.c file, the data go through "GenericModelServer_ProcessMessageCb" when it's a 2,3 or 4 bytes and is stopped before when it's a longer one. But i don't see when this function is called... So is there a way to let longer message going through this ?SincerelyGF

I want to read from a Host module which is transmitting data using CP2104 chip. I have STM32F429 MCU, and I need to read data from that application using my MCU instead of VCP on my PC . I have not received any data by Configuring the MCU as UART (UART DMA, and Inter UART). I connected pins (Tx and Rx) on the board to the Plus V and Minus V of the application module and I tried all other possible ways regarding connecting the cables.Please Let me know if there is another way to use MCU as CP2104 host ?

Hi,I'm trying to use the ST33 Arm-based TPM connected to a Raspberry Pi 3 (STPM4RasPi) but there is an error on the initialization of the TPM. I have a kernel NULL pointer dereference which prevents the TPM to start. We designed a board using BlueNRG-2 and we uploaded the GPIO demo code available in BlueNRG-2 navigator (to toggle DIO14) to the board using the BlueNRG-ST- Link utility. The board didn't detected with high Frequency(.9MHz-4Mhz) so we changed the SWD frequency into 480Khz. Then board connected and programmed successfully. But code didn't work. could you please check on this issue and please update what we can do in order to work our board.Please find the attached Schematics and the demo code for reference. Hi guys,I need to add the Device Information (0x180A) service in the advertising phase.I tried to do that in aci_gap_set_discoverable function, but ever fails with error 0x42 (invalid parameter). Whitout service uuid list, works ok.So, I tried with aci_gap_update_adv_data after aci_gap_set_discoverable (without uuidservicelist) but fails too.The 0x180A service with manuf name string and serial number string characteristics has been defined right. I am working on a project using the I-Cube-LRWAN software package, precisely the AT_SLAVE project form the b-l072z-lrwan1. I want to upload the AT_SLAVE project on a L0 MCU interfacing the cmwx1zzabz-091 LoRa module. Then I have an other MCU (L4 MCU) to communicate to the L0 MCU(related to cmwx1zzabz-091) via an USART1 sending some AT Commands. The problem is that the AT_Slave project is using the LPUART, but I want to switch it to the USART1 to ensure the communication between the L4 and the L0. How can I change the code, so the Communication Will be over the USART1?

Hello all,I have currently set up a BlueNRG-1 as a passive scanner for a few Eddystone beacons. When acquiring the RSSI data from the beacon's received advertising packet using HCI_Read_RSSI, we are often (70% time) reading the decimal value "127".According to UM1755, Table 115, this indicates a "RSSI not available" occurence. What could be causing the measure to become unavailable? Is the availability related to the received singal strength?Thanks in advance,GSLM

Hello,I am currently working with a BlueNRG-M2 module and STM32L433CC. I am unfortunately struggling right at the beginning.....I tried the example codes generated with CubeMX but nothing worked.So I tried to write my own code in a test project with FreeRTOS.First I call the hci_init(); function and everything seems to be executed as it should from what I could observe through debugging.Then hci_reset(); follows to reset the module and nothing appears on the SPI lines.I have read in this forum that hci_send_req(); should communicate through SPI with the module and then wait for an event, but nothing is happening.Does anyone have an idea?I followed all the "Getting Started" documentations with step-by-step guide for CubeMX but it won't work.An answer would be appreciated.Best regardsClément

We designed a board with Bluenrg2 chip.We are need to communicate BlueNRG-2 and Mobile application(BLE S canner).To test the board can we use the example code BLE chat? Any change we have to make in that code.We have only BlueNRG-2 and sensor in our bord as main components.

Dear Sir or Madam, I am a development electronics engineer in a company in Nuremberg, Germany. We are at a development stage when we cannot change the circuitry without extensive tests anymore. In the datasheet in Table 2 on page 3 (DOC ID 2468 Rev 7, attached also here) it is stated that the Vicm must be 0 to (Vcc+ - 2)V over the whole temperature range. According to footnote 4 on page 4 "Positive excursions of input voltage may exceed the power supply level. As long as the other voltage remains within the common-mode range...". In our circuit the supply of the comparator is connected to 3.3V. One input of the comparator swings between 0.4V and 1.9V. The other input is a constant 1.352V DC voltage. So we exceed the boundary required by the datasheet by 52mV. Will the comparator still work? How does the timing behavior of the circuit change?
