S2-LP range test

Hello,

I am trying to evaluate S2-LP. I have tried a couple of example codes to make one device send packets and another to received packet. I use default settings, whatever the settings of S2-LP in the projects are. I used the S2-LP DK GUI to ensure that at least the carrier wave strenght is good. Everythin appears to be working just fine until I separate the two devices around 10 meters. At this point the devices stop communicating to each other. 

Could anyone point out where I am going wrong?
