STEVAL-IDB005V1 and STEVAL-IDB006V1 problems

I have an STEVAL-IDB005V1 that will not enumerate as a serial port on either Windows 7 or Windows 10 so I can't use the GUI to update the Bluetooth stack. Any help would be appreciated.

I also have an STEVAL-IDB006V1 that does enumerate but does not advertise. Any help would be appreciated.

It the board powered on? Check the power option.

Do you see anything from the Device Manager? Try to flash the onboard STM32L from the JTAG connector, with the prebuilt VCOM firmware image in DK.

I guess you need to configure it to advertise accordingly. Can you connect it with the GUI?
