X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 range is less than 10M on highest power level

Hi,

I am experimenting X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 board and I have found the range is not as I hoped (about 5 Meters without any barrier).

I have set the power to 1,7 which I believe the highest power level +8dbm.

Is there any way to extend the range?

Does using external antenna help? or should I use an amplifier?

Does ST make any part for this purpose?
