Hi,  I'm using a VL53L4CD_SATEL board and I would like to switch between Thresholds detection interrupt and Data available interrupt. To be more clear, by default, I have an interrupt each time a measurement is available.If I check the low/high/window parameters of DetectionThresholds, they are set to 0. Now if I set a Threshold, for example  sensor.VL53L4CD_SetDetectionThresholds(150,150, 0);now my IT is only triggered when the range is below150mm. But my problem is when I want to come back in "normal" case, without threshold, I would like to have an IT triggered at each time a data is available, i've tried to put ma values back to 0 with  sensor.VL53L4CD_SetDetectionThresholds(0,0, 0);but it is not working at all. Is there a way to "cancel" the threshold IT properly and come back to "normal" interrupt? Thank in advance Vincent

Hi Team,I want to evaluate LSM6DSO16IS, I found one expansion board X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 already mount this sensor and have corresponding software and projects accordingly, additionally in projects could use NUCLEO-F401RE board to communicate, but seems in projects by default use LSM6DSV16X to get acc and gyro data rather than LSM6DSO16IS, is my understand correct? Should I just change the macro definition to initialize LSM6DSO16IS, can the project directly take to use or others need to change, like loading ISPU related underlying driver. Thanks a lot! 

Hello, I am trying to get gesture detection (swipe UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) with the VL53L8CX working on an STM32U575 running an RTOS.  I currently have a X-NUCLEO-53L8A1 plugged into a NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q board running Segger embOS in a C++ project.  I have been able to successfully configure and collect ranging data from the ToF sensor by extracting and modifying the example code in en.STSW-IMG040.zip\VL53L8CX_ULD_driver_1.2.1\Examples\ and using HAL_I2C_Mem_Write() and HAL_I2C_Mem_Read() for the implementation for the platform WrXxx() and RdXxx() functions.However, when I try to use the GestureKit ULD in en.STSW-IMG035_M33.zip and code extracted and modified from the example in en.STSW-IMG035_F401.zip\VL53L5_GestureKit_ULD_1.5.0\Example\Gesture\gestures_example.c:gesture_library_init_configure() fails because GW_set_frequency() fails with error -6, indicating that the frequency is invalid. The supplied frequency is the default of 20.0 (calculated from 1000.0/Params.RangingPeriod

Hello,  As suggested in my last post here, I am trying to read the ID Value of a VL53L1X sensor. I get a read failure when I attempt to read the register. Strangely, I have slightly modified code that I am using to read the ID register of a VL53l0X which I am able to run successfully. Further, I know I do not have a hardware or wiring problem because I am able to use the sensor for ranging just fine. I have copied my basic ESP32 Arduino sketch below, any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Hey ,i have been trying to link ISM330DHCX sensor to external sensors.Problem :working with STEVAL-STWINKT1B board and the schematics for my sensor ISM330DHCX clearly cannot be configured to be connected to external sensors , even though it is allowed to link up to four sensors as slaves .in my case ( with the KT1B board) ISM330DHCX (the I²C master) sensor communicate with the processor via SPI ( 4-wire) and should be commmunicating with its slaves (in here im working with one and only slave ; IIS2MDC : magnetometer) Via I2C ( sensor hub mode 2 is enabled ) ,in my case : i get no data even though i made sure to configure I2C and Configure Sensor Hub to read IIS2MDC , followed every step of AN5398 (7 Mode 2 - sensor hub mode.), Prepared sensor hub to read data from external Slave0 continuously, Enabled accelerometer to trigger Sensor Hub operation and Enabled I2C Master ; RQ :  All external sensors have to be connected in parallel to the SDx/SCx p

Hello community, I am working on a project that involves measuring a precise distance of 2 meters from the ground during an object’s free fall. I am considering using Time-of-Flight (ToF) modules from ST for this purpose and would like some guidance on which modules would be best suited for this application. Could you please advise if the VL53L8 module, or any other ST ToF modules, would be capable of accurately measuring a 2-meter distance in a free-fall scenario? Additionally, I am concerned about environmental factors such as bright sunlight and fog. How would the VL53L8 module perform under these conditions? Hello,We are using the VL6180X in a IVD product and need laser test certificate documents to show the range sensor is class 1 and safe for the user. Can you send me a test reports for this part? I see a CDRH report posted for VL53L1, but couldn't find it for the VL6180.Thanks,Andrew

We are using ST IMU LSM6DSL in to our chipset/PCB.We are looking for ready to use software or algorithm to implement in to our firmware to determine the speed/acceleration & distance from IMU data.Is there any example code available for share?

Hello all,   I'm looking at the datasheet for the STW56N60DM2, and it's really not clear if the back of the FET is electrically isolated from the Gate, Source, and Drain. Typically, this is more clear in other datasheets I've looked at. Below is the only "hint" I can find that the part is isolated. The image below is from a different manufacturer, and they make it much easier to determine. 

We got Sensor tile box and they were working fine until we uploaded this:https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-mksbox1-bl.html/1000vai bluetooth. Now they are not visible on the app ST ble sensor. How to update the original firmware on the sensor tile box (nnot pro) to make them work?

I struggle to use PDM Filter library.This is the message error I get : What I have done so far are : - in project properties, C/C++ general, Paths and syombols, in "Includes" I added the path to pdm2pcm_glo.h ; in "Library Paths" I added the path to a folder with all the libPDM_FIlter_CM3_GCC_wc16.A ... files.- Wrote #include "pdm2pcm_glo.h" in the main.It's still not working :\In "Paths and Symbols", in libraries, I think I can add a library but I don't know which one to use (all the files were included in mems1 folder). I tried randomly picking but I had another error message;I am new to cubeIDE so it's very possible Im doing a beginner mistake here

Hello,We have been using the LSM9DS1 in our own design with Linux kernel 4.19.x by adding drivers from ST github, and using the iio_generic_buffer tool to read values.Now we are upgrading to linux kernel 6.1.46 and I have checked that the drivers are included in the "drivers/iio/imu/st_lsm6dsx/" directory. In the project I use Attiny13a) + LIS2DH SPI interface. One leg of the microcontroller is missing. Is it possible in SPI mode to connect the CS pin directly to GND, and not to the microcontroller port.In I2C mode there are enough pins, everything works fine, but the current consumption is too high. 

HiI am updating a PCB comprised of LSM6DSL, LSM303AGR and STM32F4 for a customer. I wonder if these 2 sensors are still the latest and greatest? Or should I better switch to some thing newer?Thx

Hello, im having some issues with lis3dh data. So im trying to configure and read data from sensor, but its invalid. When i read my buffer L values that are 0 2 4 they seem right: But when i try to connect the data or even read 1 3 5 value that are H, its starting sending some values that are 100% incorrect. Im not moving sensor in any direction. These are H value. When i connect them. x = buffer[0];x |= ((uint16_t)buffer[1]) << 8;y = buffer[2];y |= ((uint16_t)buffer[3]) << 8;z = buffer[4];z |= ((uint16_t)buffer[5]) << 8;doing sth like this the values jump from 32k/16k and 0. I have no idea what's going on. Im just sending adress to X_L with setting 1 MSB for auto increment. Ofc, ive configured sensor CTRL_REG to turn on normal mode 100Hz XYZ axis ON and 2g. And i have some question about FIFO too. I've seen some examples from github. To be precise: lis3dh_multi_read_fifo.cAnd ive set it up for my board. Same configuration,

Hello, I am experiencing significant challenges with programming the SensorTile Box Pro. I successfully loaded the base firmware STSW-MKBOXPRO Expert Mode v1.1.1 and managed to retrieve data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and temperature sensor via USB. However, I am facing two issues: 1. When I attempt to add microphone data to the other sensors' data flow, I encounter a problem. After uploading the new flow, which includes Fourier-transformed microphone data, the SensorTile no longer appears among the devices connected via USB. Could you please assist me with this? 2. My second issue concerns data saving to an SD card, which does not seem to be working. Despite leaving the SensorTile Box running overnight to log data, the newly created output.csv file on the SD card is timestamped "31/12/2016 at 13:00" and is only 1KB in size. When opened in Excel, the file is empty except for the columns labeled by data type. I also tried using the Datalog2 firmware,

Hello everyone,We manufactured about 100 boards for a pre-production run using the LIS2DTW12, and at room temperature, the boards are all over the map with +/-3°C accuracy, nowhere near the "typical" +/-0.8°C as stated in the datasheet.I've already seen the other post regarding temperature accuracy issues for the LIS2DTW12, but I did not see a resolution or an accepted solution in that post, so to me at least the problem was not solved.Our production volume is 10k+ a year, and we've selected this part because of the temperature accuracy features. I know the data sheet does not show min/max for temperature accuracy, but on a sample of 100 boards, the sensor is nowhere near the "typical" values.Also, I noticed a large temperature variation with the supply voltage: on the EV board, if you change the VDD from 1.8V to 3.6V (using the Advanced Features) the temperature readings (in Data panel) are jumping up by 2°C!There is nowhere in the data sheet any information regarding the temperature

I'm using the example project provided for the VL53L5CX and it works fine with the default 4x4. The `vl53l5cx_init` method within the vl53l5cx_api.c is where I believed it should be configured in this section where I passed in VL53L5CX_RESOLUTION_8X8 to both send_offset_data and send_xtalk_data : I also noted this post which said the buffer should be increased, which did not work. I wanted to know if anyone could supply an example of using the 8x8 resolution. The image below is the current output.   

Hi I am developing a commercial footfall counter based on the VL53L7CX and ESP32.The API is (Version : VL53L7CX_1.2.10)I have produced a mockup using the VL53L7CX breakout board.IOVCC is 3.3 voltsI am using the on board regulator for AVDD powered from 5 volts.I2C is 1 MHz.I am using the 4 x 4 resolution.I am only using the Results.distance_mm the rest of the Structure and I2C communication is disabled in the platform.hI have developed a PC app to capture the ranges and visualize the range data.With the sensor facing a blank wall 3000 mm away I am getting a mixture of ranges in the 16 zones with almost 2000mm difference on adjacent zones.I have also found some zones just do not update their range unless you wave your hand in front of the sensor.  This is not a data issue I am receiving the data it just does not change.The worse problem I have is the range on some zones is intermittently fluctuating by more than 400mm between samples.I have tried VL53L7CX_RANGING_MODE_AUTO
