Dear All,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am reaching out to inquire about the key differences between the LSM6DS0 and LSM6DS3TR-C sensors. Could anyone kindly provide insights into whether the LSM6DS3TR-C offers superior accuracy compared to the LSM6DS0?

Your expertise and input on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention and assistance.

Warm regards,

Fabrice

Hi @fab_lepieux ,

Welcome to ST Community!

LSM6DSO has better performances in terms of noise and current consumption.

Also note that LSM6DSO is a newer product and therefore recommended for new designs as it has been improved in most parameters.

For a better overview, I recommend consulting the datasheets: LSM6DS3TR-C and LSM6DSO.

Hi Federica,

Apart of noise and current consumption does LSM6DS3TR-C has better accuracy then LSM6DSO ?

Hi @fab_lepieux ,

Do you mean accuracy in terms of ODR?

Hi,

I mean the Gyroscope and Accelerometer accuracy ... we need calibration ?

Hi @fab_lepieux ,

Our sensors are already calibrated by factory.

However, for some applications, it could be suggested to subtract residual offset (for accelerometer) and ZRL (for gyro). To do so, acquire some samples for each axis and calculate the average. Then substract this value to the acquisitions.
