Hi everyone,I was reading the data from the OUTX/Y/Z_L_A and OUTX/Y/Z_H_A registers. I noticed that if the actual acceleration is some non-zero value, the data will be fine. However, if the accelerometer is stationary, the horizontal axises (which are supposed to  read 0g data) read a value near to 2g or -2g. Here is the example:  As you can see in the diagram, the y and z axises shows some reasonable values for their components of gravity, the horizontal x axis keeps changing from -2g to 2g but not shows the correct reading(0g).Does someone have any clues about this?  

Hi,I am working on interfacing an STM32F405 with the ASM330lhh and have been able to utilize both I2C and SPI communication to the chip. I am able to turn on and read the accelerometer and temperature as well as the status bit become 0x05 but trying to turn on the gyroscope with and without the accelerometer already activated I get no status bit and no data is outputted via the gyro's registers.I am writing 0x11,0x60 to turn on the gyro and reading the registers starting at 0x22. one thing to note is that when turning on the gyroscope while using I2C the entire line breaks after modifying the register, on SPI this doesn't happen but there is no change in the gyro data.

I'm using ASM330LHH chip, I'm using the SPI communication method, when I initialize the write to these registers, I confirm that it has been written, I go to read the STATUS_REG register, and I find that it has always been 0, and then I go to read the values in the acceleration register, and I find that these values have not changed, what is the problem?

Hi,Can the LSM6DSOX sensor FIFO be utilized as a ping pong buffer? And if it is possible, how can I do that?

 Hello All,My new sensor tile box STB011147 not responding yet all even connected USB power source to it's not responding, I checked the battery was connected, however when I pressed power button no LED are turning on. please let me know how to resolve this issue. 

How would I go about reading data from gyroscope and accelerometer of lsm6dsox IMU in the STEVAL_MKI197V1 that is connected to PC via STEVAL_MKI109V3 motherboard WITHOUT the need to use software like Unico-GUI?  Preferably I would like to have the data be sent to a Putty terminal via the USB that is used for communication between STEVAL_MKI109V3 and PC. Thanks for all help in advance.

What is the type of internal (mechanical) structure of LSM6DSO32 gyro sensor? (a photo of the internal structure would be beneficial). The reviewer asked us about this during the review process, and we couldn't find such information in the manual. Best regards,Dominik Sierociuk

hi. I attended a workshop a few weeks ago and had no difficulties using MEMs studio with my X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1.  I needed to move to a new computer and I went through the download process again for MEMS studio and my board (above) is not shown as supported.  The version I d/l'd is newer than the one on the old computer. I feel like I'm missing something obvious .. where do I add support for a missing board?Thanks,-Rich

Hello,I have the Nucleo STM32F401RE board, on which I mounted the X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 expansion board with the removable add-on STEVAL-MKE001A for QVAR signal detection.My first question is: is it possible to acquire the raw QVAR signal using only MEMS Studio, or is it necessary to integrate a firmware solution? By "raw QVAR signal," I mean the data that has not been processed by the FSM, and not the tap or double tap, which serves only as an interrupt.Below are the steps I have followed so far and the inconsistencies I encountered:1. When connecting the board to the PC, the software immediately recognizes it, and using the provided DataLogExtended binary, I can select the devices of interest, including the LSM6DSV16X IMU for QVAR signal acquisition.2. Back in 2015, I ordered 19 LSM9DS0 boards from Adafruit for a project (which is taking longer than anticipated!).I've recently noticed that the Accel X, Y and Z readings are materially different for some boards when the boards are flat in a common position. Some read X : close to zero, Y: close to zero, Z: close to 9.5, whereas others are all over the place (such as X: -1.4, Y: -0.3, Z: 7.00. or X: 3.36, Y: 7.00, Z: 4.32). It seems as though the orientation of the board no longer aligns with the orientation of the output of the accelerometer.I have a few questions:- What's the design life of an LSM9DS0?- Should I expect some failures of the accelerometer after 9 years?- For the boards that are giving strange readings, is there a way to reset the accelerometer in any way, or to compensate the readings with offsets (and is this level of offset usual?) 

Hello,I'd like to use LSM303AGR temperature sensor and only that, what is the minimal configuration to be able to do that? As I browsed the forum I saw that setting TEMP_EN[1:0] bits to 1 in the TEMP_CFG_REG_A and BDU bit in CTRL_REG4_A is not enough, you also have to set XL ODR in CTRL_REG1_A. Is there anything else needed?

Is it possible to check the electrical activity of an AC power cable using Qvar functionality. What type of electrode to be used? What type of input circuitry needs to be designed (input impedance and filtering)?   

I have four sensor tile STWINKT1B kits. I want to simultaneously capture accelerometer, temperature, and acoustic data from all the kits and set up an integrated dashboard. Further, I also want to extend this project by creating an IOT Hub using either IBM Watson or Microsoft Azure. Can someone help me with the same? I'm a bit new to this domain.

I guess this is a weird question. I am not really interested in the classifying part of the MLC but I am interested in its feature selection capability, I would like to know if it is possible to perform feature extraction calculation on the data stored in FIFO and somehow get access to those calculated feature values,With Unico I know all those values are stored in the .arff file, but I am wondering are there functions that I can call to do feature calculations on data that is already in FIFO and then store the values in a buffer?Cheers,WIlliam

I am using NUCLEO_F401RE + X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 with MEMS Studio software. X-NUCLEO-IKS4A1 offers multiple various bus configurations, including the sensor hub mode for LSM6DSO16IS.However, only in standard I2C mode can we establish the connection in MEMS Studio. If using the sensor hub mode, there will be WHO_AM_I warning and connection cannot be setup.The issue doesn't appear in Unicleo-GUI since we can disable the sensor affected, but in MEMS Studio, the option cannot be changed.  

Hi,I am currently using a STM32L476 with a LIS2MDL, I need to apply a calibration along only 1 axis for the magnetometer, as the system can not be rotated along the others axis.I was wondering if there is ready made solution/library to do it?Thank you in advance for the help or any ints  

Hello,I have an issue related to LIS2DW12 wake up interrupt. When reading the wake interrupt src it is showing that wake up interrupt is being triggered I am getting value in loop from software interrupt. But after enabling interrupt on INT1 pin I am not getting interrupt over INT1 pin. It's being kept at 0.00 volts.
