Hi @Nathalie MAGNIEZ ,

as the other users said, you should use high g accelerometer whenever the normal 16g Full Scale is not enough to reach the useful data, like for example in sports monitoring

if you put a sensor in a football, you will see accelerations higher than 16g, and you will need a high g to detect certain situations
