Hi all, I selected the L6981C50DR for my buck DC DC power module. A quick overview of my application, I am going to use this power module to convert a typ 12.8V from a smart battery to 5V @ I_out_max= 500mA (Based on experimental values, also this value is the one used when calculating the capacitance and inductance and not the 1.5A specified in the data sheet) and operational current of around 120mA with spikes at around 300 mA hence the choice of 500mA, I will use this 5 volts to feed to an esp32-c3-devkitm-1 I will attach a screenshot for the schematic I made in Kicad and also the external components references and values. When I wanted to simulate the design in eDesignSuite, I came across a few values that I found myself struggling to figure out. It is the AC Current Rating, ESR Min and ESR Max of the capacitors as those values are not specified in the data sheet because, from what I understood, they vary depending on the application and conditions. Hi everyone,after months of excruciating pain and panic attacks and many kilos gained by stress eating, I managed to have microros running on my H723ZG nucleo: this however is true only with standard messages. Countless hours have now been wasted on trying to make custom messages work, to no avail. I already have the custom messages definitions ready, can even create a ros2 pub node to send them and I can even see them through a quick ro2 topic echo, but I can't for the life of me get this onto my stm32 board and I have lost all hope completely.Do you maybe happen to know some insights, or maybe a procedure I could follow? Really, anything would help.

Hi people,  I am using M24C04 EEPROM CHIP WHICH OPERATES (1.8 V -5.5 ). Hello all, I was implementing software for this kit STEVAL-KITXCB from ST, and I was wondering how to measure power of the inverter.  I'm using now two ADCs at sampling rate 2 MSBS to read both current and voltage of the inverter, But I don't know what the exact equation is to calculate the power. Can anyone help?

Hello,      I am trying to test out my TIMEKEEPERS square wave output.  I set my frequency, then enable.  However, I do not get a signal out.  The SNAPHAT is attached to the IC, so I am not sure what is wrong.  Do I need to read after every write, restart the crystal, something else?  If anybody knows what to do, I appreciate some guidance. Thank you

Hi,Currently, I am using EEPROM (p/n:M24M01-RMN6P) for data logging.The chip is operating at 3.3V and the circuit shown in the figure below.An incident happened that the EEPROM content has been erased and when we read back the contents of the EEPROM, the values are all OxFF.1) Any design error in the EEPROM circut?2) What are the possible causes that the EEPROM could have been ereased?3) under what test conditions that it will happen?4) How to prevent the same incident happen again?5) What is the maximum ambient temperature that an EEPROM can operate reliably at? Thanks and regards,

Hi there,We are using the STUSB1602 for charging 10W devicesI'm looking to download the STSW-STUSB010 library, It seams that the STSW-STUSB010 library is not available, also from web search, there is version 015  some sites claim that the library is not supported anymore at the ST website there are only "starter guides" and not actual software files (we are willing to pay if needed...) STUSB015 start guide  thank you 

Hello, I am using M95256-A125 EEPROM device as NV data storage in our application. SPI communication is used to communicate from host to EEPOM device. EEPROM  Device has page size 64bytes but little-fs expects minimum page size as 104 bytes.  My question is, if we choose to have SPI transaction of 64bytes(Maximum), can we keep pure data in it?  meaning, do we have any mechanism to handle command + address bytes separately? So that We can keep block size as 128bytes. thanks!

Hi Everyone!! Please confirm if we can use single M95M02 memory with two stm32 microcontrollers?(wherein one stm32 will just write into the M95M02 memory while other stm32 controller will just read from it) If we make sure if first stm32 controller is accessing the memory then other will not use it.Is it possible?? RegardsALPNA TAXALI

Hi everyone,I am searching old ST component that placed on PCB of my old Braun trimmer. The part name is "D6 16A F 122" I also shared the picture of PCB. I can not find the datasheet so I don't know the specifications of this component. I want to change this broken part with equivalent component. I think this is a MOSFET with 16A but I am not sure. The gate voltage level is also is important. Can anyone help me to find this specifications? Or suggest a component which is available?  

Hi there!First, I need to declare my frustration with CUBE IDE complexity. My code is not for blinking a LED or test one button, but a complex code that involves an 7 inch LCD, EEPROM, TEA6686 PLL, DS3231 RTC, DS18B20 temperature sensor and so on, It is almost impossible to organize the code with so many files to manage, and now, besides of working fine at main.c file, the I2C3 is not recognize outside the main.c file. This is boring, so boring that I am hard thinking to change the processor and IDE. Tons off #includes, tons off crisscross references, we get crazy...... What the hell…..Well, my code is to far advance, lets see how may I solve this problem…. It is the edge….I created a file R_T_C.c and RTC.h to manage all information regarding with DS3231, but when I try to use “HAL_I2C_Mem_Write(&hi2c3, 0XD0, 0X0E, 1, 0b00000000, 1, 1000);”  it says that  'hi2c3' undeclared (first use in this function). What may I do to solve the new issue…… Already tried to #include ever

Hello everyone, I am using the AEK-AUD-C1D9031 board along with AutoDevKit Studio 2.4.0 for programming. I imported the complete program file from the application library. When I tried to change the sound in the sounddb.s file, the board did not work properly. Since the free UDE license allows a maximum .wav file size of 256 KB, I ensured that my .wav file was around 146 KB. However, the mute LED (D7) glows every time I run the program. I tried pressing and releasing the mute button, which turned off the mute LED, but the sound output was completely unrelated to the .wav file I provided as input. This is the issue I am facing. Kindly share a proper .wav file and example code to test the product completely.

Hi, I am using P-NUCLEO-IOM01M1 board for IO-Link as a Master device. After I updated the firmware in NUCLEO-F446RE, device is not detected in the TEConcept tool. Please help me out in this regards. I wrote to TE Concept regarding this issue. They told me to contact you. 

What is Theta JB and Theta JC for the STGIB20M60TS-L - SLLIMM - 2nd series IPM, 3-phase inverter, 25 A, 600 V short-circuit rugged IGBT? In the datasheet maybe i found the theta JC (junction case) but didnt have not information about JB (i think this is junction base). I need this informations to develop my heat sink. Thanks!

HelloI am currently working with the ST LINK V3 mini. Unfortunately, the programmer occasionally loses the USB connection and goes into error mode. Only the red LED is still lit on the ST Link V3 mini. I can then no longer establish a connection with the STM32CubeProgrammer V2.15.0. I have to disconnect the USB connection and reconnect the programmer to re-establish a connection.I have found the Connector CN4 with the "force reset" function in the data sheet. When I trigger this, the programmer goes into DFU mode.
