Hi Team,I am testing in LSM6DSL and I have a problem with accelerometer data reading.I am getting 12.73 read/sec while setting 80ms as a timeout in application and getting accurate accelerometer values. If I decrease the timeout less than 80ms, it will increase the data read/sec value but few of the accelerometer axes values goes missing. I wanted to know the maximum read/sec of accelerometer data and is there any method where I can get greater read/sec data without missing the accelerometer values.Thanks & Regards,Afeefah Fathima  

We have a Load-Rite Pro LR918 loader scale. The device does not keep time anymore.You can set the time but it doesn't advance at a proper rate and usually within 1 week it is about 6 days behind. I opened up the scale main control unit hoping to find a battery but there was none there. I looked into it further and found a M48T35Y-70PCI RTC module in there. We have had this scale for about 5-7 years now if not longer plus the loader at times sits for days on end without being used so I am assuming whatever battery is keeping the time is dead or almost dead as this is something that has only become an issue within the last couple weeks as it seemed to have been working good up till then. Is this device replaceable or is the battery inside it replacable? I have found a complete replacement device on the digikey website but after doing some reading it looks like it needs to be programmed before using if I am not mistaken and if that is the case I have no way to program it so I would prefer

Hello Team,We are using LSM6DSL in our device and want to increase the speed of reading data. We are not able to read accelerometer data more than 12.5 Hz with gyro initialization. Without the gyro initialization we are getting around 360 Hz data reads but the accelerometer halts at this condition. We needed more than 400 Hz data reads with all the values. Do you have any information on this ?

Dear ST Community, Currently using the M24C64-A125 as EEPROM. We have a performance challenge in which we need to write a certain amount of data in less than 100ms. We checked the datasheet and we found out that The Page Write mode allows up to 32 bytes to be written in a single Write cycle. Which reduce the amount of time to 4ms maximum for 32 bytes.However, we are confused about the relationship with /WC pin. When we want to use the Page Write Mode, shall we pull up the WC pin untill the stop command is sent and then pull that down ? or it shall be pull down at the beginning of the transfer of data ?  RegardsRachid

Hi I have a design with the STUSB4500 per the attached schematic snippet and programmed per the attached memory map.  This circuit is on a tiny board inside the plug end of a captured USB cable. The PDO's are programmed to default to 20V @ 3A.The application is for a one-time use product (used for about 1 hour) and normally this works well.  However about 1% of the time the cable assembly appears to perform the following:   1) properly negotiate 20V@3A (as seen on a cc line sniffer)   2) shortly after 20V is applied by the DFP, enough current is drawn to bring down the power supply.   3) power supply remains off until the cable is unplugged, then the cycle starts over when re-plugged in.We can continue un-plugging, then plugging-in the cord (nothing else attached to the other end of the cable).  Sometimes we can do this twice, and other times 50 cycles until it just starts working.  Once it decides to work, it works witho

Hi,I'm planning to use STBC15LQ in a design, but I'm finding some contradictions between STM's AN4208 (an application note about flip chip bonding) and a very brief recommended footprint in the STBC15LQ datasheet.Can someone verify that the footprint in the datasheet will work, even though it deviates so significantly from the application note? Also, what should the soldermask opening be? it isn't specified in the datasheet.Also - if the recommendations in AN4208 are followed, there will be some very small islands of solder mask underneath the chip. I need to route pin C2 to pin C1, will it be safe to do this even if there is no solder mask under the chip? I'm concerned about a mask-less trace wicking away solder from pin C2.Thanks,John 

Posted on October 26, 2012 at 20:39As some of you may know, the ST10FLASHER provided by ST does not allow you to save target flash memory as an Intel hex file, but only as a formatted text file. For most, this may not be an issue, but I was in a situation where I needed to flash a replacement uC with the data from another device, and was unable to do this. Because of this, I wrote a utility in C# that translates the formatted text from the ST10FLASHER app into Intel hex files that can be loaded by the ST10FLASHER app. If you are interested in trying it out, email me at: davetelling<at>gmail<dot>com, and I will send you a zip file with the application and a text file with some simplified instructions. Hi,I have a custom PCB with STUSB4500 as the UCPD controller and STM32H7 as my application processor. Without any I2C communication between stm32h7 and stusb4500 the stusb4500 is able to negotiate a higher voltage from a usbC PD source by matching its preset values. I have checked with a 20V PD source.I am trying to read the capabilities of a USB C PD source as received by the stusb4500 chip. I am using the STSW-STUSB003 software library as a reference to develop my code which is on Zephyr RTOS. I am able to read and write to the stusb4500 over I2C. I have tested the usb_pd_init() and Send_Soft_reset_Message() and they work without any errors. I am trying to use the M95020 (M95020-WMN6TP to be exact) to replace older 2K SPI EEPROMs. Comparing everything in the data sheets seems to imply it should be a good replacement, with most tolerances higher than the old EEPROM.Yet for some reason, some addresses fail to write. It seems like the issue is consistent, like address 0x04 and 0x06 do not write. When reading those addresses back they are still in whatever state they were before, whether they're read by the SPI device or even with an external programmer.Everything is 5V in circuit and I believe the clock is only 100kHz. I've looked at signals closely with a scope, tweaked capacitor values, and compared timings to the data sheet, but I can't find anything to cause this. All the signals look clean, good rise and fall times, and no noticeable noise. I even tried multiple chips from two different suppliers to rule out bad parts. I saw somewhere in the forum that the TOF sensors see [optical] pings from other sensors as ambient light (meaning they are able to ignore them) but are still able to detect their own bounce.  Is that true?  If yes, can someone explain how that works?Note, I'm referring to the situation where you have independent devices in an area moving around, each of which have their own TOF sensor(s) for obstacle avoidance.  The point here is that there is no synchronization between each device, so there would surely be overlapping [optical] pings.
