Minimum supply voltage of M24M02

Hello,

The minimum supply voltage for the M24M02 is 1.8 V (range of 1.8 V to 5.5 V). The Power Integrity Simulations ​of our hardware design showed a voltage of 1.7921 V @ pin A2 (VCC). This is a drop of almost 8 mV.

I know, 8 mV below 1.8 V is almost nothing, but will it work? Is it safe?

Hello,

This is out of specification versus the guaranty granted by the datasheet. But you have to know that in order to guarantee the 1.8V operating, test pattern at EWS and Final Test are run at 1.7V. So even if lower than the Vcc min authorized, your die will work .
