Thermal resistances for M24128-BFMC6

Hi, could you provide :

  • the TJmax (maximum Junction Temperature),
  • RJA(Junction to Ambient Thermal Resistance),
  • Rjc (Junction to Case)
  • and Rjb (Junction to Board)

for the M24128-BFMC6 EEPROM.

Hi,

See below:

  • the TJmax (maximum Junction Temperature) --> 130°C
  • RJA(Junction to Ambient Thermal Resistance), --> θJA=67(°C/W)
  • Rjc (Junction to Case) --> θJC=38(°C/W)
  • and Rjb (Junction to Board) --> θJB=27(°C/W)

Hi Pierre, 

Thanks for this answer, as Rjc is superior to Rjboard, I suppose that it is the value for Rjc top.

But as the component is a QFN with an exposed pad, is it true to take the Rjboard value for a Rjc-bottom ?
