555 timer _ ASIL B requirement

Hello Team

 

I have a general query. 

 

Do we have any 555 timer with ASIL-B or ISO26262 compliant. 

 

I am interested in discrete level solution rather going with MCU and my aim is to have redundant control/ feedback/LIMP HOME mode embedded in the 555 timer so that i can achieve functional safety requirement.

Welcome @Kesavan_Ramalingam, to the community!

The TS555 has been on the market since 2003, but the ISO 26262 was first published in 2011, so the TS555 cannot comply with this. Other 555 timers that support ISO 26262 are not available from STMicroelectronics.
