Question

Hello! I have an STEVAL-ISV020V1 module. Is it possible to modify this module in order to charge a supercapacitor with a minimum voltage of 2.2V and a max. voltage of 3.8V?

From documentation I can not figure if it is possible. Do you have any configuration of resistors(R4,R5,R6) in order to modify Vuvp and Veoc?

Welcome, @CO.1, to the community!

yes, you can use the STEVAL-ISV020V1 to charge a supercapacitor. The calculation of the resistors is shown in detail in the data sheet of the SPV1050, section 6.1.

I also did a quick search on the internet once and found a PhD thesis that describes, among other things, the use of the SPV1050 in such a system with supercapacitor.

Hope that helps?
