You must mean the series resistor between input voltage and TS2431?

Well, the TS2431 can be thought of as a controllable Zener diode whose voltage is adjustable between 2.5-24V and is 2.5V when the reference pin and cathode are connected. The maximum current may be 10mA, the maximum input voltage 25V. Now you have to take your system parameters and divide the voltage difference between input and selected voltage at TS2431 by the desired current to get the resistance of the resistor, accordingly the power dissipation at this resistor can be determined.
