I am using Simlis to carry out a simulation of AN5797 1KW bridgeless CCM-PFC pre-regulator based on the L4986A IC, I have built up the circuit, but it does not simulate and produces an error The voltage and currents of this circuit cannot be uniquely solved. I am unsure what is causing this error. The part is downloaded from ST. I have broken the design down by removing the L4986A and the positive & negative voltage sensing section that is driving VGS1-4 seems to give the expected gate control signals when GD is driven with a 68kHz square wave, but when the L4986A is added in it stops simulating, I have attached my simplis schematic. I have contacted Simplis and they are unable to find out what is wrong.
Do ST have .a functioning SIMPLIS schematic for the AN5797 bridgeless PFC shown in your application.
