Dear All,

Could you please share us a technical document to show us what was the exat meaning of "N" letter of your part BAT54CNFILM-H/J ? Actually we ordered 6K pcs of your part BAT54CFILM from Digikey and its Digikey part number is 497-3786-2-ND but received this part as its part number was written as BAT54CNFILM-H/J on the manufacturer label of this part and our customer needs to learn what is the meaning of "N" letter on this part number. So please provide us a document to explain this "N" letter as this informations is not available neither in digikey nor in its datasheet

Welcome @GizemTekin, to the community!

Unfortunately, it can quickly happen that the official order designation (in your case BAT54CFILM) is confused with our internal designation (here BAT54CNFILM-H/J). The additional letter (here N) has no technical relevance whatsoever and only denotes internal ST details, such as the location of the frontend or backend.

Such internal information, which is completely irrelevant to the end user, is also included on the packaging alongside the official order designation so that, in the event of a complaint, the product’s path can be traced precisely.

For the reasons mentioned, information about this internal information can also not be found either on the website or in the data sheet.

Does it answer your question?

/Peter
