Hi
Can I ask you if is possible, using STEL12H24 eFUSE, to implement the reverse polarity protection using small components?

We need to redesign an old project and We need of this feature, but we have a tiny area on the PCB

Can you suggest to us other part numbers of eFUSE that support reverse polarity protection?

our parameters are:
Vin = 12V
Iout = 8A up to 85°C

thanks very much

Welcome @PaoloZ, to the community!

Unfortunately, no one has been able to answer your question yet, but I hope it will still help you?

In contrast to STEF01, reverse polarity protection can only be realised externally with STEL12H24, e.g. by the well-known arrangement of a p-channel MOSFET in front of the input, whose gate is controlled against GND (see e.g. here).

Hope that helps?
