Hi STteam,

 

I have selected STP45N60DM2AG MOSFET which is  TO247-LL package heatsink base  is anode or cathode or insulated may i know  ??

 

it is not mentioned in the datasheet.

This is the package variant TO-220, where tab is always connected to the centre pin, in this case drain.

i am using STPS61170CWLY diode ,  TO247-LL package heatsink base  is anode or cathode or insulated may i know  ??

The same statement as before applies to this double Schottky STPS61170CWLY : the centre pin is connected to the tab, because this is the result of the lead frame geometry. However, you can also check this again by carrying out a continuity measurement between the centre pin and the tab. If there is no mention of insulation in the data sheet, then there is no insulation inside the device.

I am sorry that this is not explicitly mentioned again in the data sheet.
