STSPIN32G0B1 Power consume

I have working on STSPIN32G0B1 board for BLDC E-Bike. I have need 5V Supply for Motor Hall signal, Throttle and Pedal Asist sensor (approximately 60 to 70mA). Can I able to convert 12V from REG12V to 5V using 78l05. REG12V can able used to provide external supply.

If you want better efficiency and less heat, consider using a buck converter module (switching regulator) like:

MP1584 mini buck module.

LM2596 module.

These are cheap, compact, and efficient — much better than a 78L05 in terms of thermal performance.
