Is it possible to start either of these Vipers up earlier than their stated HV startup voltage by sourcing VCC manually (external supply) from the Vin voltage?

Thanks for confirming that. This means I can also use the Viper0P which will greatly improve my standby/"off" current consumption.

I just need to know the behavior when Vin is first supplied. Will it start in ON or OFF (ZPM) mode ?

How does the Viper behave in a no-load situation?
