VIPER31 switching losses

Hi,

I would like to use the VIPER319HDTR and would like to check the thermal to see if Tj will be an acceptable value.

However, the switching losses of the internal FET are not mentioned. Is the switching time of the internal FET known? Or is there another way I can verify the thermals of the device?

Thank you in advance!

Kind regards,

Beau Wilmink

Self-heating is caused by several factors, which is why it seems to make the most sense to simulate the design. You can use the free online tool eDesignSuite for this purpose (select AC/DC > Start a new project), which also calculates and graphically displays the switching losses, among other things.

Hope that helps?

Good luck!
