VNH9013Y thermal sensor

Hello everybody,

I'm using the VNH9013 H-Bridge thermal sensor. Datasheet states on first page that thermal sensor coefficient is -8.1 mV/K, while on page 10 says -2 mV/K.

Any ideas on what is the right temperature coefficient?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome, @GEspo.2, to the community!

The temperature sensor in the VNH9013Y is realised by a diode, i.e. a pn junction. If a constant current is fed into such a pn junction, the resulting forward voltage has a temperature coefficient of -2mV/K. One can therefore assume a typing error on the first page.
