Wrong data while reading Current and capacity using STC3117 (STEVAL-ISB017V1)

I am using STEVAL-ISB017V1 (evaluation board of STC3117) with i.MX8MP board with linux. I am able to detect the IC and getting the data i.e. Voltage, temperature, current, and capacity. But the data for Current and capacity is not as expected. Current values didn't change even according to charging states. I am using driver https://github.com/st-sw/STC3117_LinuxDriver . Could some one please share the pointers to resolve the issue?
