Help with Reducing Power Usage in STM32F423ZHT6 Smart Lock

Hey all,
I'm using the STM32F423ZHT6 for a Smart Lock with 2 limit switches for lock/unlock. The problem is, the motor stays on all the time, so it’s using a lot of power. Any tips on (https://faisalmoversonline.pk/) how to reduce this? I want the motor to run only when needed.

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Do you think you've presented details of the 'design' that are adequate to understand what you've built?
