How to troubleshoot comms between Motor Pilot and target?

Motor Pilot 6.0.0 will not connect to my target hardware. I am using:

• NUCLEO-G431RB
• STEVAL-IPM30B (w/ NUCLEO adapter)
• generic BLDC

When I click connect, I see the following message:

• Port Open and try to configure the board.

Did you generate your project with MotorControl Workbench 6.0.0?

If yes, did you then flash the generated code with STM32CubeIde?

Finally did you put the right portCom and the right Bauderate on the pilot ?
