STEVAL_SPIN3201

Hi Community

I hope someone can help me. I am about half way to getting my spin3201 to work but it does not run consistantly. Using motor pilot I can get it to start rotating and it ramps up but then goes into faultmode and drops out with speed feedback fault. I can configure the speed to hall effect and my motor is hall effect type, but whether i configure it or not, it still bombs out with this fault.

So starting at the beginning, when i load the STEVAL_SPIN.ioc ver 6 in the cubemx, i notice that i have the following conflicts, from the start are flagged

1) RCC,

Reset and Clock Controller

status

Partly disabled conflict with :

TIM1; Channel 1 PWM Generation CH1 CH1N or/and PF0-OSC_IN mapped with GPIO_EXTI0

Partly disabled conflict with tmr1; Cannel 1 PWM generation CH1 CH1N or/and PF0-OSC

When i examine this problem it seems deeply ingrained in the actual program where i cant change one thing without it affecting something else. I know i am missing something , I am sure the software cant be so badly written

Hello @DDoug.2

Could you describe your software environment?

Are you using the MCSDK ? If yes which version?

Regards
