hello,

I am now studying the UM3042 STM32 motor control SDK - 6 step firmware library User manual, in this PDF, it mentioned "For a complete description, refer to the STM32 MC firmware reference manual." as below

could you please tell me where to get the reference manual?

thanks.

Hello @dqsh06,

All available 6-step documentation is in User Manual documentation accessible on "Workbench tool">About>Documentations>Documentation>"User manual" tab, "Six-step Firmware Algorithm" link.

The sentence is confusing but only mention that 6-step is a part of the full MCSDK document

Hello @GMA ,

so there is no reference manual for STM32 MC firmware? usually, ST had a user manual for how to do and a reference manual to explain why do like that. so if you have the reference manual, I do want it. because the user manual did not explain many knowledge, it is difficult to understand.

btw, when I open the Workbench, many times I get this as below

even when I used STM32cubeMX, I got the openJDK issue, how can I do to deal with it?

Thanks.

Hello @dqsh06,

Could you provide us some details:
- What are your used MC Workbench version and STM32CubeMx version?
- What is your Operating System version and language?
- What is your Java JRE and JDK versions? If old versions are used, is it possible to update it?
- Do you have the same issue on another PC?

hello @GMA

- MC Workbench Ver6.3.0, STM32CubeMX ver6.12.0

- OS: windows10 professional 22H2, Ver19045.4780, simplified Chinese.

- JRE is within MC workbench. jave version: 11.0.20.1, JRE version:11.0.20.1+1-LTS

I am not sure it is older or not, it was installed by MC workbench Ver6.3.0

but there is another JRE, which is within STM32CubeMX, java version: 17.0.11

why MC workbench and STM32CubeMX are not the same jre?  I dont know, it was installed by ST.

   below as your reference.

- I only has 1 PC, I am not sure on another PC.

Thanks.

Hello @dqsh06,

As error is not systematic, could you verify, via your task manager, that no OpenJDK process remains active once all WB/CubeMx processes are closed?
May be that using MC Workbench Ver6.3.1 could help.
