When the motor profiler is used - 1: do the L and R values apply to a single phase coil, or are they values measured across two driver outputs, i.e. two phase coils in series? 2: Are they DC measurements or measured at the PWM frequency?

Concerning your first question, R value is measured across two driver outputs, and then is divided by 2 before getting returned to Motor Profiler. L value is calculated using R value previously determined and measured Rise Time. Both values are averaged from a sum incremented at each PWM frequency loop for a definite number of times.
