We're excited to announce the creation of the TouchGFX Academy!

The TouchGFX Academy is a new place to learn TouchGFX with concrete examples and to find answers to your questions when developing your UI. It includes tutorials of course, but also a new series of "How-to-TouchGFX" videos where we explain all you need to know to become an expert in TouchGFX, even if you are starting from scratch =)

 

We will publish our videos on YouTube, as well as on our support website under the "TouchGFX Academy" section.

I found TouchGFX really intresting tool to develop embedded GUI. I am using custom board which contains STM32H7A3ZI and DLC0700BWM27RT-2 parallel display. I followed documentation from TouchGFX about board bring up and other few videos from youtube but still couldn't intialize my display till the point from where i can start using TouchGFX. Detailed example videos on custom board would really benefit learners like me. Mostly there are examples on development board which is good for reference but i still find bit difficult implementing them on custom board.

Thank you for your feedback, we are considering in doing videos for people that uses TouchGFX with their custom boards as well. We know it's an important part and we will invest time to make them.

Thank you for your comment. Indeed, you will not find the videos in the Academy section of the community. We have made the choice to put them in our support website instead since all our documentation is there.

To suggestions for video content, bringing up TouchGFX on a custom board (since we can't use ST dev boards in product), and bringing up TouchGFX and ThreadX starting with CubeIDE (since ST has decided that it will support TouchGFX over GUIX).

I've been trying to get a project going on a STM32F429I-DISC1 with TouchGFX and ThreadX and a simple worked example would be appreciated.

Yes, I realize that I could use the FreeRTOS example, but the certifications that come with ThreadX are quite compelling and I already have code going for 2 other processors in the system using ThreadX. Now I need to build an HMI and it would be best if all of the processors used the same RTOS.
