TouchGFX licenses

Good evening.

1) Can I public my personal project on the Github, with the source code which has been generated in the TouchGFX Designer (like a template project or example)? Are there any licensing issues with it?
2) Can I use the GPL-v3.0 license for my project?

Hello @Warlock ,

Sorry for the delay, but I wanted to give a full and precise answer to your questions.

1) You're welcome to share your project. For licensing you should create a list of SW components used. For the ST/TouchGFX SW, you need to add ST’s SLA0048 standard terms. One important limitation is that this SW may only be used on ST chips.
In your project, you will likely share some of the used TouchGFX third-party SW. These SW must be included in your list of SW components. You can find the full SW bill of materiel for TouchGFX 4.26 here: https://www.st.com/resource/en/additional_license_terms/additional-license-terms-x-cube-touchgfx-v4-26.html

2) No, as this is not compatible with the ST SLA0048 (explicitly forbidden by SLA0048’s section 5).
