Auracast with Galaxy S24 phone - only first channel or subgroup

Hello,

Right now I am using 2 STM32WBA55G-DK1, one as PBP_Source and other is TMAP_Peripheral. The source consists of 2 BIS channels and in TMAP, I have included language selection option to include the subgroup or channel selection. And its working fine. But if I select Unicast option and pair with S24 mobile, only first channel or subgroup I can select, not the 2nd one. May I know whats the reason and how to overcome from this.

Thank you

The 3.5mm jack used as an input for the Discovery kit can only carry 2 channels so you either have 1 stereo track or 2 mono tracks. It's not possible with this setup to get 2 stereo tracks.

You mean a Samsung Galaxy S24 phone?

What software version is it?

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Hi Sandeep,

From what I understand, you are trying to use the Samsung Galaxy S24 as a Broadcast Assistant to synchronize the DK to your multi-language source. Can you confirm this ?

If yes, the reason you can only see one subgroup is that Samsung doesn't support synchronization to multi-language sources. To my knowledge it's not supported by any other smartphone. If you want to test a compatible Broadcast assistant, please check our implementation on STM32WBA: https://github.com/stm32-hotspot/STM32WBA-BLE-Audio-Broadcast-Assistant.

Regards,

Tom.

Sir, is it possible to get the stereo audio in the below condition.

"I have another doubt that after sending 2 songs and dividing them into 2 BIS, is it possible to get them as a stereo song in the receiver at the final stage?"

Thank you
