Hi ST Experts,

We have a BLE project based on the STM32L476 and HM11 BLE and we are looking to minimize the component count and shrink the board size. We want to replace the STM32L476 with a BLE and MCU single chip solution and we are considering the STM32WB55CGU6, kindly advice the most suitable MCU for a BLE.

We also need a single chip BMS solution with integrated charge controller, protection circuits (Over temperature, over charge/discharge protection etc), Wireless charging (is nice to have), Integrated battery gauge with I2C interface (to read out battery State of Charge and battery Health).

We would love to schedule a meeting to discuss further our requirements.

Looking forward to your response.

Regards,

Paul.

Would need more details - what size & type of battery, etc ...

Sounds like you want an FAE?

to contact ST direct, see: https://ols.st.com/s/

Or maybe try your local distributor: https://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/contact-us.html

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

Thanks for your response.

So for the battery, we are looking at a 3.7V Li-Po/L-ion battery. The capacity can be up to 5000mah.

And yes we'll like to talk to a field application engineer.

Does ST have a single chip BMS solution with integrated charge controller, protection circuits (Over temperature, over charge/discharge protection etc) and Integrated battery gauge with I2C interface (to read out battery State of Charge and battery Health)?
