VS Code (STM32 Extension) blocks MCU-Finder from starting (Mac OS M1)

Just installed the STM32 Extension to VS Code.  If I start the MCU-Finder from within the extension, the MCU banner appears and then hangs in that state.  If I quit VS Code while the MCU Finder banner is visible, the MCU Finder will then continue loading and then open.

The MCU Selector also hangs within STM32CubeMX. If I quit VS Code, the MCU selector will open.

 Any ideas?

I have STM32CubeCLT, STM32CubeMX (6.9.1) , and STMCUFinder (6.0.0) installed.  Mac OS 12.6.8 (M1).

Thanks

I seem to have a similar problem. When I choose “create a new application” from within vscode (stm extension), stm32cubemx starts but hangs on the start my project… choices. Running outside of the extension it just runs.

Still not fixed!

st-stm32cubeclt_1.15.0_20695_20240315_1429-macosx_x86_64.pkg is still not signed!

Stm32CubeMX needs full disk access to run even though it runs fine in STM32Ide.

All in all it is just really poor.
