Availability of I-Cube-CANOPEN package from Emotas on a STM32F7

I would like to use the CAN interface with a CANOPEN library on my STM32F723.

As I have found there is a Library for STM chips provided by emotas: https://www.st.com/en/partner-products-and-services/canopen.html

I have downloaded the Lib on my STM32CubeIDE an now are trying to add it in my CubeMX to the Project:

The problem is, it says, its not supporting my MCU. But in the description of the Library it says it should support the F7 chips.

Is the library not "free" and I have first to contact emotas or did I forget to install something?

Best regards,
CO

Hello,

I'm getting back to you with the answer.

In fact there are two offers for emotas CANOpen:

1- This link

This offer is for commercial usage and you need to contact emotas over their website: https://www.emotas.de/en/contact

2 This link: which corresponds to I-CUBE-CANOPEN package.

This package is only for evaluation and (for the moment) supports only these MCUs:

From the release notes: Middlewares\Third_Party\emotas_CANopen\emotas\Release_Notes.html

We only put the supported devices STM32G4 in our webpage because it was the only platform validated from our side.

So indeed I-CUBE-CANOPEN does not support STM32F7 family. You need to contact Emotas for that device (the first offer).

Hope that answers your question.

Hello,

I'm checking internally and get back to you as soon as I have a feedback.

Just note that the Emotas stuck is provided as an evaluation version and for commercial usage need to contact them directly.
